Just saw it last night. long time I didn't see a really scary movie. This one really pushes the false documentary to a whole new level of reality.
Really impressive acting.(...) the directors explained that most of the "actors" didn't know what was gonna happen to them and the camera never stopped recording whatever were their reactions to horrible surprises. Only one actor knows what to do, where to go, and he is the one leading the action from one place to the other of the house. The effect is a rushed and hysteric spontaneity, pure madness... (...)
-from ImdbI highly recomend it

It was good. Acting ok, plot very good but the ending was just awful. It was like they wrote themselves into a corner and didn't know what to do with themselves after.
I saw this a couple of days after seeing the orphanage, now thats one scary fucked up film. That had me with a gi joe kung fu death grip on my gf's arm for most of the film. Rec, on the other hand, had me chucking a few times and grinning. I do love zombie films, and this was good, but I actually felt that had it been filmed properly (not hand held) it would have been a far better film.
