quicktime in flash!

these guys seem to be playing quicktime.mov in their flash site?

We downloaded the video to see what the bitrate was and stuff;
H.264, 640 x 480, Millions
AAC, Stereo (L R), 44.100 kHzor is this some ON2 business?

the only problem with the HD quality files is that only a small % of users have enough bdandwidth to stream the files for uninteruptted viewing

so it is actually, definitely a quicktime move and you can play them with as3? That would make everything a hell of a lot easier.
- test it out first. you can do really nice HD stuff but it takes alot of bandwidth to be smooth. Vimeo has a HD section have a lookmaximillion_

the latest version of Flash player 9 can play h264 encoded videos.
packaged either as a MOV or MP4, M4V, etc..you link to them just like you would link a FLV file.
