Hey,
I'm designing wedding invitations. I am thinking of using a wax seal on the envelopes. I know that paper-source sells the gun and the wax, but i need to seal like 150 cards, and even though i know i need to do them manually, I need something economical. I know there is a another way too to go about this using a bunsen burner, please advice me if you know stores where i can buy this gun/wax. i also want to get an emblem/type treatment embossed into it. Any reference will be useful. Thanks!

seals are usually a carved stone or metal.

I did this awhile ago and simply bought the wax, emblem and a lighter at an art store .. dripped the melted drippings onto the envelope seal and then stamped it. I remember the wax sticking to the stamp a little bit .. perhaps there is something you can coat it with first.
Weren't 'ard.
- humm. yeah. I'm thinking on the same lines. Any other places I can buy the wax/seal. Where did you get the emblem made?saunakspace

There was a pre-made one that suited my needs. The store had a pretty big selection. I suppose you could just call around to different art stores and see. Otherwise, you could have a die made pretty inexpensively.

Yeah i did this for my wedding invites. I got an sealer that worked for us and bought the glue stick and gun online. the trick is to put the sealer on ice to cool it, dry it with a paper towel and then press it on the hot glue, then it wont stick...
- ahhh the ol' nature vs nature solution. of course._salisae_
