Need to launch a demo. Having to download and install a new CMS just to see how it works is bogus. demo demo demo.

Is there a login for this? So I can see the admin panel? That is the important part.

not really liking the way that admin looks, and it appears to be just another blog engine. i'm a huge advocate of symphony. i'm a designer, by no means developer, but i figured symphony out in about a week. http://symphony21.com
here is an online demo of the admin: http://demo.symphony21.com/symph…

I found it after some hunting. This is a nice little thing. I would love to dig into the code and see how everything works...especially interested in theme building. It feels a little bit clunky, as far as how everything loads. Realizing that it is beta...I dig it.
One thing that I have thought of with a lot of these open source CMS options is, the smaller ones are really slick, much slicker than wordpress....but they dont have nearly the user base that wordpress does. This becomes a problem when you want plugins that you cant write. I think this is why I have resorted to wordpress so many times. It looks like it would work great for a really basic site though. Cool.

The backend looks a little messy to me. Not very intuitive.
And as long as it hasn't got a WYSIWYG editor, I will not be able to push it to a client. Is it only me - or is it only possible to mark the text up, bu handcrafting HTML in the built in editor?

It looks decent to me... especially being that this is a beta release. I found a little more info here:

if you use pixie, does that mean that you become a pixie?

Possible...
"Pixies (also Piskies and Pigsies as they are sometimes known in Cornwall) are mythical creatures of folklore, considered to be particularly concentrated in the areas around Devon and Cornwall, suggesting some Celtic origin for the belief and name. In regional dialect, these mischievous little folk are sometimes referred to as piskies/piskeys or the little people. They are usually depicted with pointed ears, and often wearing a green outfit and pointed hat. Sometimes their eyes are described as being pointed upwards at the temple ends."
... but not likely... it depends how tall you are?

Our developer just finished a pretty nice custom CMS for a client pretty similar to this feature-wise, but some nice AJAX eye candy here and there.
