in college i did 2 semesters on baroque with emphasis studying carravigio.. that dude was a weird cat..
i had a professor that had a serious passion for the era. what struck me most was the architecture of the time, bernini in particular.. i love the interior dome work and the wavy walls. guarini started it all in the renaissance period, but the baroque kids ran with it
