cheap and drinkable. A cold, tall $3 can of PBR is just what the doctor ordered.
- $3 can?! It better be that beefy ass huge can shit, haha!********
- At a bar ... hahah. I can get a 6'er of pounders for like 4 bucks. IT'S GREAT!********

Like I said in the PORTLAND thread.
"Yes the beer is really, really good and PBR sucks."
Fugged says "fuck that. pbr is good, just in a white trash sorta way."
"Not even in a white trash sort of way. Its a trend and like all trends this PISS WATER trend will die soon."

PBR me ASAP.

I will again fight for beloved Pabst. Hipsters drink it.. Yes. So do blue-collared Americans, Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet, and me. I'm somewhere in between there.
It's cheap, and tastes better than any other cheap beer out there.
I like "good" beers too. But I'm not afraid to go hobo chic every now and then.
- Life is to short to drink PISS WATER.tparsons
- yea it was the org. blue collar beer.studderine
- But life isn't too short to be on QBN all day?brains

I didn't know hipsters drank this until awhile ago.
Patrick Swayze drinks it and walks away from plane crashes because of it.
That's good enough for me.
- flavorful i may...i may be a HIPSTER!?!studderine
- Nah. I think hipsters like PBR to be somehow ironic. After over 10 years of drinking...********
- ... I've just killed my taste buds to the point where I actually seriously consider PBR being a good beer, haha.********

I'm drinking Flying Dog Classic Pale Ale right now.
I don't think there is anything wrong with liking Pabst Blue Ribbon and still thinking of yourself as a "beer snob" or whatever reason people don't like it.
It's a good a beer.
It works.
I don't have to drink to have a good time.

at a bar I could drop $7 a beer on premium beers or drop $3 on a PBR tallboy, the economics make sense to me.
- helll yeah.studderine
- welcome to the SF Bay areaninjasavant
- Here here!brains
- Yes and basically if you can get one down after switching up to it ... you can get the rest down.********
- It's summer / walking around beer for me. Super light generic taste, but packs a punch.brains

In college for St. Patrick's Day we would instead have St. Pabst Day. Where we would all drink PBR, skip class, and generally have a great time.
I guess maybe PBR is more of a nostalgic beer that I just never gave up on because in the realm of "cheap" beers, it was the best.
The only ribbon I ever won was on the side of my can.
Lord knows I gave up on Old German when I turned 21, and ... well to be honest I'm glad because that is one of the worst beers ever made, haha.
It's made of all the throw away Iron City beer ... all flavours. So it is like dumpster diving for drinking, haha.
