hysterical
simon pegg is a blessing in hollywood. and its one of those feel good movies / romantic comedies so you can take your girl. (or if you are a girl just tell your guy its the dude from shaun of the dead)
not as funny or as clever as shaun of the dead, or even hot fuzz, but still a hell of a good time. my friend and i laughed out loud like 8 year olds at a couple parts while our girlfriends kinda groaned. good times.

This movie was supposed to come out last year in the States. They did promotion and everything and then it got pushed 6 months.
I'll never understand Hollywood, and I'm using this as an example as to why I shouldn't chase my dreams.

my dreams involve being witty and quick enough to get my posts in in an orderly fashion

I have such realistic dreams that I believe I'm awake and doing my daily activities.
Which is boring as hell until I realize something is goofy, and then also suddenly realize I'm about two hours late for work.
- Actually I learned not too long ago from the PVN that I have "lucid dreams" and have been having them for years.flavorful

no joke: in addition to my mildy disturbing jaline dream last night i had a dream that i was unable to finish a website because the client kept asking me to resize the logo and it was never right...
terrifying and sad.

I saw this film a few weeks back and it's pretty good. However, I feel like I have seen it all before. And it was very predictable. Still worth watching though.
(P.S. I thought Shaun of the Dead was hysterical and that Hot Fuzz was OK).
- Same except I thought hot fuzz was hilarious too. I watched it before shaun of the dead though.slappy

I slept on Shaun of the Dead because I thought it was a scary movie.
Mistake.

I read that Pegg and Wright are doing a third film called (tentatively?) "World's End." Apparently it's the third film of their "Blood & Ice Cream" trilogy. One might assume this will be a send up of disaster films.
I really loved "Hot Fuzz." The last 20 minutes is soooo good. When they jump in the police and yell
"Punch!"
"That!"
"Shit!"I rewind and play over and over.

hahaha, I was just watching the Benchwarmers again this weekend and I must have replayed the part where Jon Lovitz goes, "I hear this town likes to egg Comic Book Conventions."
And Nick Swardson's character comes out of nowhere and just goes, "DESTORY THEM!"
And looks directly into the camera when he does it.
hahaha man about 24-28 times ... I'm trying to find it on YouTube now so I can laugh more, hahahaha.
- That has no bearing to this thread outside of watching something over and over again, haaha.flavorful
- i know this feeling well :Dharlequino

after watching the trailer I can tell that he doesn't win her back

Couple Hot Fuzz fun facts:
-The guy in the Santa suit at the beginning who stabs him in the hand is Peter Jackson
-His forensics girlfriend who dumps him is Cate Blanchett
- Jaline0
I knew the Blanchett one (I am sad like that), but not the Jackson one. Harder to tell I guess? I can't remember. Thanks for the fun facts. I'll stop before I ramble on too much..

just watched it yesterday.
hysterical indeed

I watched Run Fatboy Run on a plane this February and thought it was a weak film. David Schwimmer has not been a good film maker so far.

Simon Pegg is a dude.
RFBR was pretty good, but in my opinion nothing will beat Spaced that he does...
Sad thing is, the US are supposed to working on a version of it with NONE of the original actors. Shame really.
Apparently the studio sold the rights of it to America behind Pegg's back. Naughty.

loved it.
