I just wonder how long Detroit can play such great hockey. Game 4 is going to be huge (understatement).

I'm trying not to lie to myself in my head, or on here with my posts. The Red Wings are still playing better hockey, albeit surprisingly (probably because I'm so blinded by my love for the Penguins). I think this was the confidence getter that the Pens needed, especially with Malkin picking up a penalty so late and still not letting this game go into OT.

Yeah, they needed those goals by Crosby. Malkin is still finding himself. I honestly can't say anything bad about the Red Wings, and most people can't. Every year I learn something more about why Detroit is called "Hockeytown".
Pens have been really good at home though.

Hal Gil rocked this game. Awesome goal against the back of Osgood AND flipped over Holstrom into the Pens net.
And Brooks Oprik, how many hits did he dish out in that 30-second span? Five? He knocked down 3 different players.

Also, Kris Letang didn't play. No offense to that kid, but I'm kinda glad. He seemed to play horribly the first two games. I'll take Sydor over Letang, even if he hasn't played during the playoffs. He's got a bit more grit.

Ya, and it sucks we have to wait 'till Saturday for game 4. Not sure if that helps or hurts the pens now that they have the momentum. at least this is a series worth watching again.
