Dreamhost is killing me today- dead slow site loading and no email access at all.... is this normal????!!! Should I try someone new?
I know this isn't the first time this has been mentioned but I just moved to them because they looked to be reliable and came recommended from a lot of QBNers.

I use DH. They're far cheaper than any others for the same goods. They are crap from time to time but mostly ok. Depends if you're making millions from your site / loosing millions from down-time. If not then do a couple of slow hours matter?

I feel you gron... Been pulling my hair out since last night. Super slow and acting strangely. The price is right, though.

Have you bothered to contact their tech support, instead of complaining here?
- yeah, that mostly helpdesignerror
- I only complain here to see if anyone has enough experience to say I should leave them or not. Yes I have contacted technical supprt and they are "working on it"gron

Dreamhost is perfectly fine for portfolios and personal sites. People complain about downtimes, so I guess it's not great for high-traffic sites, but I've never had problems.
