My judgement would be "if it looks like it came from Europe it's probably okay."
But if it looks too trendy (and i don't know how to describe that exactly) but if it looks like it was designed to be "artistic" and meant for people with no style, then maybe I'd skip it. You are Randd, after all.

Also, I would give tons of money to have one of the Helvetica shirts that Big Brother skateboard magazine used to sell that was in the Metallica logo font. They were awesome.
