hi folks,
I need to find out how to hide my .com registration details with all my personal info on.
I got a sack full of junk mail this morning asking me to renew it and I think somebody's peeled off my home address from the registration info that I supplied initially.
I managed to get rid of the .co.uk one but don't know where to go for the .com domain.

It depends on with whom you registered it with. There may be an option to hide your info that you just have to click on. Otherwise consider just falsifying it. :\

Are you with 1and1? I got that from looking up your domain listed in your profile (I don't know if that's your personal one or not).
Then I did some research:

I always give the correct address but a false name to any marketeers, that way anything that comes to my address with the name
Dr. T. Rash goes straight in the trash and I don't need to worry about shredding it either :)

Private registration is usually an extra-cost add-on, but its fairly cheap.. I use it for personal domains or any that have to be registered to my home address, but don't bother on business registrations... At GoDaddy its $2-$7yr or so depending on the deal on offer... you can add on checkout when registering or add in the account manager later. Really depends on your registrar whether this is offered...

I just registered a bunch of domains privately, it's free @godaddy if you register 5+ domains at once.
