I'm not blaming you, Mary. Still trying to find some peepz to meet in Vienna. Sad that there's no NTers there.

I've heard you can stay at good places for cheap. This of course was before our grass fucking president fully took over

kayak.com has a bunch under $100 I have no idea how good they are though.

Never been to any of those cities, but a friend of mine was in Vienna recently and from what I gathered it's on the same level of Paris or Stockholm - which means it's probably very difficult to find an inexpensive place to stay.

I stayed in Hotel Union in Prague. Nice place with free breakfast in the mornings.
Total trip for 7 nights plus airfare from NYC was about $750 if I remember correctly.

well, i found places in both for under 100EUR/night. And they're in the city centers and have breakfast and everything included. Still seems high, but i guess i haven't traveled in a while.

if you go to vienna, check out the Schoenbrunn gardens (forget the palace itself, the gardens are impressive) and the Schatzkammer, the imperial treasury. They have the Holy Roman imperial regalia, if you have any interest in history, that's a must-see. Not too many 1000-year-old crowns around.

Shoenbrunn was unbelievable! Thanks for the tip. Now i gotta get all these pix online...

www.hostelworld.com is a good source of hotels and b&b's (not just hostels), I've been using them for years now.
