Hey everyone. I know there are a decent amount of you who are excellent illustrators and may be looking for a way to sell your items. I recently put together a Wordpress theme called market which makes selling items extremely easy with the use of custom fields and paypal.
Check it out if you are interested:

pretty nice.

1. How customizable is the theme?
2. When you say License is thsi a one time fee?I think that you should clarify those two points.
A very good business idea Astereo

Yea, the license is only a one time fee. You can customize it as much as you want with a standard license if you are using it yourself (and you can use it on unlimited domains). If you want to customize it and work off it as a base for client work, then you'll need a Dev license. Either way, as long as the base Wordpress-related code stays in tact, you can design around it however you'd like.
Just worked on the mini-site today. I'll get a live demo button up momentarily!
Thanks for the comments though :)

Very cool application, I hope it works out for you.
If I can ever get my sculpture and or tee shirt line completed and off the ground, I would use it. I just bookmarked your site, thanks for sharing!

No problem, I appreciate the comments. Good luck with it!

does this work with paypal shopping cart?
- astereo0
Yes. The code could easily be changed to work with the paypal cart. There is also a download pack which uses FatFreeCart (combines the paypal cart functionality + ajax so you don't need to leave the page every time you add something to the cart but you still checkout on paypal).

good stuff, maybe I'll give it a go...

If you do, let me know what you think :)

Bought it and uploaded it.. works like a charm! And believe me, I can't code to save my life, and I was able to edit, customize and get images up in online store within an hour-- well worth the $40! Great Job Astereo! I am looking forward to getting further into it and getting a shopping cart going... cheers--

Anyone else give this a shot yet? I would love to see some examples of customized shops...

I would as well to use as additional demo links on the site (to show off what others have done with it)
About the hosting sh*t, I'm going to move off Namecheap sometime this week. Great for domains, horrible for hosting!

My question is why advertising on a site that is already selling something? Adding ads just funnels people out of your site and away from your sales... seems ineffective to me.
- astereo0
You mean on the theme itself? It's just their to give a demonstration of what you can add to the sidebar. It could be promo images, doesn't have to be an ad.

Minor price increase. For the next 24 hours you can use the code fastbuy to purchase at what the previous prices were ($40 for standard license and $120 for developer license)
