for 100% x 100%
- amullins0
also, you may want to set your body's margin/padding to 0
- BANKattack0
got it - thanks again

all except the Under Construction @ the top. type that directly after the opening body tag.
* resets the swf's size to 700x400

whoa - y so big? if you want it to fill the window, use 100% x 100% and overflow:none on the window. you should also consider looking at the file on my site - you're html is messed up (an </html> in the middle of the body). http://www.niftynewsite.com/sand… <- not updated for 100% width/height.

one last question.... Why do I have a big white margin at the top - which is not in the swf. file? I've adjusted the size ratios, but nothing? Any suggestions?
Thanks dudes.
- it seems like the sfw tho... I'm confused. NoobBANKattack

"movie.swf", (swf name)
"mymovie", (the object id)
"400", (width)
"200", (height)
"8", (lowest required flash version number)
"#336699" (background/stage color, maybe change this to #ffffff)
- storypixel0
var so = new SWFObject("movie.swf", "mymovie", "400", "200", "8", "#336699");
here the 400 is width and the 200 is height... adjust these values
- BANKattack0
got it to work but now it's tiny and fukt - how'd that happen? It should look ideally like http://www.sam-bank.com/index.sw…

if you don't want to use swfobject (for some odd reason).
when you published your swf from the flash ide, it should have created the runactivecontent js file. upload that into a Scripts directory on your server.
delete the swfobject script(s) from you page
- storypixel0
You would need AC_run blah if you weren't using swfobject. You don't need AC_blahblah for swfobject, just swfobject.js ... upload to sam-bank.com/swfobject.js
- storypixel0
You don't need AC_RunActiveContent.js... you only the need the code for swfobject if that is what you are going to use (which I recommend).
1. Put the swfobject code back inside the body (between the <body> and the </body>) currently it's outside of the entire html document
2. Upload swfobject.js to your main directly
3. done

I have AC_Run... in my html. I don't have a scripts folder ? Does it need to be in there?
- rson0
so it looks like you need this file AC_RunActiveContent.js

you are calling 2 different things:
This works:
http://www.sam-bank.com/index.sw…This is not found:
<script type="text/javascript">
var so = new SWFObject("movie.swf", "mymovie", "400", "200", "8", "#336699");
so.write("flashcontent");
</script>What happens if you change "movie.swf" to "index.swf" there?
- oops, weird, got a server error.flashbender
- oh, unless you are passing "movie.swf" into "index.swf". I would say it is the scripts being 404 in that case.flashbender
