there is no comparison in those numbers though Dukie, do you agree?
- in the pac numbers...no other canidates take in much more money- however obama is leading in personal contributions, and I would like to know who is contributing and what organizations they are affiliated withDUKIE0822
- contributions, and I would like to know who is contributing and what organizations they are affiliated withDUKIE0822
- I've given Obama $300 since his campaign started. So count me...TheBlueOne
- I'm affiliated with a whole bunch of drinkers, rockers and other social reprobates..TheBlueOne

PAC Contributions to Obama, Barack (D-IL)
2005-2006 PAC Contributions: $98,389
also look at the article from the b'more sun...he took in 190000 dollars of personal contributions from his associates at NRG...which would have shown up on the individual donors list and not on the pac contributions list
he has found a loophole..he is a good politician, but I am not buying his whole change bs routine...he is the same thing in a new package
- You do realize how tiny this is compared to say Hilary or Bush?TheBlueOne

And the company that is involved with the money you mentioned: Exelon is "Provider of energy services with an electric and natural gas distribution and is the largest nuclear operator in the United States."
Natural gas and nuclear aren't bad things - both are going to be needed as we reach Peak Oil, unless you want to go with Coal plants. I certainly don't. I have no problem with Nuclear - in fact we're going to need to rely on it more and more. The French seem to have done well with it...
- funny because hes supports coal to liquid energy production...which is extremely dirtyDUKIE0822
- I'll look into it...TheBlueOne

I tottally realize that it is part of the politics...dobs said that he is voting for Obama because he doesn't take money from lobbyists when in fact he does take money from lobyists he just sticks his hand out the back door
- Dobs exaggerated a bit I suppose. I don't think you can't NOT take money somewhere..TheBlueOne
- Citizens are free to donate x amount of dollars to candidates.mrdobolina
- no they can't
there are caps
http://www.fec.gov/p…DUKIE0822 - to borrow a line..you know the more you talk dobs the more I think you don't know what your are talking aboutDUKIE0822
- What about x amount of dollars do you not understand? And I insult people a lot.mrdobolina
- x amount = any amount...we are not free to do that under the curremt rulesDUKIE0822
- x = the limit that I am unsure of. Otherwise I would have said the number.mrdobolina

$12,137? C'mon man....
a) please compare/contrast to list of McCain & Clinton connected corporate donors
b) please list all politicians that take no donations form corporations.
I know you're at work, so I'll give you an hour or so...ok...go!
- And that was for his Senate race. And it was for Natural Gas for godsakes...TheBlueOne
