I've been working as an interactive designer in London for the last 5 years, but me and the wife fancy living/working in the US for a couple of years.
Anyone done this themself or got any tips on how to go about doing this?
Like where to find jobs?
If there are any agencies that operate to help people finding design work in a different country, etc?
Or what the score is getting visas - is it possible/easy/hard?Cheers,
G.

You have to get "sponsorship" from an employer. To get a job you need an interview, and to get an interview you have to go through customs with your book. Except if customs suspect this they will take your book from you (or so I've been told) as you cannot get a job with out a visa.... blah blah blah.
I sent my portfolio ahead to avoid this though.
[ I was advised this by a CD I know in NY)
