What's the deal? They moved up their primaries, were warned not to or their votes would be stripped, did it anyway, and their votes were stripped. Now everybody is crying foul when the rules were pretty damn clear from the beginning. If I was a Florida citizen I'd be pissed at my representatives who moved up my vote date against the rules of the DNC. Should people not be accountable for their actions?
Ha, and now nobody wants to pay for a re-vote. What a mess...

does anybody fully understand how the primaries work? they seem incredible complicated.

- Not really. You vote for someone.ukit
- i think if you are pre registered as a democrat or republican then you can cast a primary vote but some catastrophe will put Bush back in office somehow so they don't mean anythingrtr
- ...back in office so they don't mean much. Americans are fucked no matter how you look at it.rtr

I'm from Michigan - I think it's a matter of being pissed/not being represented in the general election that counts. We have 18 fucking electoral votes, that's one of the highest! (minus CA of course)
- I'm probably mixing up caucuses/primaries/g... but you get the point. go Great Lakes!doesnotexist
- Is it your governors fault for moving the primary up? Who made the decision?mtgentry

FL and MI tried to play with the big boys, but Howard Dean bitch slapped them back into place.

- Was waiting (and hoping) for that oneukit

What's funny is they moved them up because they wanted to contribute to the beginning of the campaign more in establishing momentum. If they would have waited, they would actually have played a larger role.
I guess I can understand that logic with Michigan, but Florida always plays a huge role in the general election. I don't know what they are bitching about. They can't even get their own votes straight most of the time. Poor Florida, can't they ever catch a break?

it seems like the public votes the party decides if they like who the people voted for.

Florida, is there an election you can't ruin

Florida and Michigan violated the rules and federal law of the DNC, fuck both states!

Florida always finds away to fuck-up every damn' election, dumb ass Republicans moved the dates up knowing that they would cause problems for the Democrats. If they can't fix the election at least give the republicans credit for trying!
