anyone got a .htaccess editor or generator they can recommend??
I have 300+ redirects to do and don't much fancy doing it all "manually" as much out of laziness as not wanting to make any typos ;)
so recommendations??

Well, i was going to say Notepad, but then I read the next three lines of your post...

haha, thanks.
the problem is really that there are so many urls to redirect...
even a properly set-up excel document would do I suppose, but as recent posts of mine prove I am useless squared at excel :(

Could you use find/replace with Notepad?

emecks, no recommendation other than you need a cute intern.
- haha! the closest to an intern I have manages to get blusher on her teeth - not cute.emecks
- fuck off.

but it's not just replace, or is it??
I thought it went something like:
Redirect permanent www.mydomain.com/old-urlwww.mydomain.com/new-url
A nice wee editor of some sorts would be safer for someone of my ineptitude at redirects though ;)
