Hi,
I am trying to design the interface for a game and I was wondering if anyone knows any good tutorials to achieve the style I am looking to accomplish.

I want to achieve something like the style of the "battle within' game on the spiderman 3 site. The link above will take you to the sony spiderman site. You then have to click on the 'experience the full site' button to be taken to the actual site. Then click on "games" then on "battle within".
Basically its alot of pixel specific borders etc. Come from print and motion I am not used to this style of design. Any help would be great.
Thanks alot

Well the interface style of that game....everything is based on things being a certain amount of pixels wide etc...I would just like to know how to construct something with this kind of look...with the shine and the textures etc...it seems like it was constructed in photoshop

Form and style make strange bunk mates on the web. One of the intentions of web design should be to make sites that aren't physically painful to use.

I am not sure what you mean? I am designing an interface for a game. Its not my usual line of work, I have a style and Its not going to help here! I just need to achieve this style. All the tutorials I have seen so far are really tacky...I can achieve this style in illustrator but thats not helping me...I need to build it in raster.
thanks again

Basically what I am saying is I know there are fast ways to create these effects in photoshop but its been about 4 years since I have gone near web design so I completely forget...any help would be great.
Cheers

If you are referring to buttons, icons, textures, and other graphical elements, best bet is to search around the photoshop blogs. Lots of tutorials and free downloads to help you. Be on the lookout for "layer styles" in particular. There are a bunch of good ones and they're easy to tweak. So if you want that metallic button or reflected look, you apply the style to your shape. Done.
