if i create a logo with a relatively complex gradient mesh, will i have a lot of issues when providing this to suppliers?
anyone have experience with this? am i setting myself up for headaches?

i always been afraid if i started doing gradients and stuff they'd ask for millions of different variations... i cant even find a gr8 tutorial on the gradients.
I do like the plain logo with that jquery text fading plug in... have u ever played with that

Gradient meshes seem to be ok in pdf format so should always print ok. You could always provide 2/3 flat colour versions for other uses like stationary/uniforms.

is it spot colour or cmyk?

Just a wild guess here from someone who hasn't done print since the 90s, but what if you make it a smart object?

is this colour break problem any different than a problem i would have with a regular gradient?

colour break really depend on the print process if your always gonna be in control of the production then it's not so much of a problem, but most good logos as a rule of thumb have a single colour (ie spot execution)
