On an actual related note, I've never been, but have always wanted to go. I remember in I think 4th grade one of our assignments was to make a travel brochure and we chose Barbados.
Everyone took it seriously except me, because I decided to talk in a funny accent and also decided that one of their customs was to dump a whole bunch of water over their head and then proceed to headbanger's ball like no tomorrow drenching a lot of other people.
This of course is about as helpful as my other two posts now in retrospect.

I have been. it's pretty nice. I liked it. I stayed in Christ Church area but can't remember what hotel it was. the beach is really beautiful. I would love to go back but usually flight to Barbados is a little more pricier than going to Aruba so I always end up in Aruba instead.

I stayed at the Savannah near bridgetown, was on the edge of season, so there were all of about 4 couples at the hotel

I actually been on barbados, but it was back in '89. dont remember what hotel. but we where on the south side. east has too big waves, west side gets deep fast. (the water) It was really cool. totally relaxing.
