I have strange impulses. I'd love to run across the open area at Victoria trains tation, dressed as a business man with a breifcase and a mobile phone, looking insanely stressed out and shouting EXCUSE ME Excuse me sorry SORRY, EXC....EXC, sorry, PLEASE, EXCUSE ME... In that stressed executive way, and really seriously too, but be doing tiny little high kneed runing on the spot steps so that it took me about fifteen minuts to get across there.

Another one... I've alwasy wanted to go into a tobacconist and browse, then when asked to say that I've always been interested in taking up smoking but I'm not sure which is the best brand to get started on, and to start on about how the Silk Cut sustem seems like a good way to start off mild and build up over the weeks to the professional strength, but does he/she. the tobacconist have any other recommendations.
What woudl they say? They're in the business of selling cigarettes, and yet morally, they'd be in a total dilemma wouldn;t they?
- a good one would sort you out with a nice smoke then set you on a 6 week plan to end up on a pipe..Stugoo

Have your colleagues gone home for the day, and you have no one to talk at?

Sorry, I am indeed sat here on my own, kind of killing time and also trying to cheer myself up a bit. I just wondered if anyone else ever had any strange impulses. Sorry, ignore the thread... I'm slipping into the 'treating QBN like a blog' state of mind... a sur efire indication its time to stop reading QBN.

A long time ago, over a few weeks, I had this urge when walking down corridors, to do a forward somersault mid-stride, then carry on. I mean, it was an actual physical demand that I could feel nagging in my prefrontal cortex. Strange in itself, particularly so because I'm no gymnast.
I only wish I hadn't confided this urge to my [gorgeous] boss of the time as we walked down a corridor - she, understandably, looked at me like I was a bit odd.
It went very shortly thereafter and hasn't returned.

My daughter does a cartwheel every 3 or 4 steps while we walk across the mall.
She's 6 years old.

Some of you are probably just obsessive-compulsive.

I used to do foward roll breakfalls randomly when not too sober, i.e. at parties. Then roll back to stand up and go on talking as if this never happened. That's what a year of Aikido is sure to teach you. It never stopped to amuse me that I could do it. Just like I'm always amused I can read cyrillic even if I don't understand most of what it says.
