Hello, does anyone know if it is possible to edit an image in a pdf and then slot the image back into the pdf?
I have to blur out the faces of children in a years worth of community newsletters, a real pain to get all the files and re-do the pdfs, I have all the screen res pdfs here and its so frustrating not being able to do it with them!

You need the "touchup object tool" in the touch up toolbar, right click on your image, select edit image, it will open photoshop, edit it and save. Then return to your pdf document and it will update the image LIVE ON STAGE

I know it sounds bizarre doesn't it?! But the client doesn't have legal rights to put the childrens images online, or something like that.
lajj, does that 'touchup object tool' exist in acrobat professsional 6?

once had a project where we had to shoot a room full of kids at an old fashioned one-room schoolhouse...
once all the kids were sitting at their desks, we went to the back of the room and shot from there...worked great..you could see that there was all these kids..but no identity issues...no faces...
had the schoolboard call me a year later asking about that project and how they loved the fact that they didn't have to get photo clearances from 45 sets of parents...
