Just opened the office electric bill for the month and got hit with $800. It's usually $130. The dumbass girl downstairs in the other business that shares our building has apparently been running an electric heater 8 hours a day for the last two months (she says "I'm from the Craibbean, it;'s too damn cold up here!" - meanwhile the thermostat in the building is set at 72 and she wears two jackets sitting there..) . We've always had a gentleman's agreement with said business that we'd cover electric and we'd be credited against our shared heating oil bill...I just spoke to her boss and they've been looking for an excuse to fire her for the last two weeks. She's gone....besides she always comes up and uses my microwave and leaves it stinking of McDonald's which she reheats. It's inhuman.

I feel a little bad, as she's a college student - although not the brightest one...she went to go see the movie Beowulf instead of reading it and wondered why her professor gave her a "C". I make the chit chat with her in the hall and figure she's one of those "vapid" 20 somethings I read about in the news.
