My friend thought it would be funny to get rid of the stacks that I had set out on my dock, and while I have Quicksilver to quickly navigate and access things, the stacks were helpful. I can't seem to simply drag and drop things into the stack space... help? Thanks!

You can drag and drop out of stacks. Not sure about INTO stacks though.

I think you can only drag folders into that area

I know you can drag out in the "fan" setting.

I have it on the left now. Because it matches my wallpaper. But I can't decide if the left or bottom is better.

I still miss the dropdown menu from OS9. It was out of the way. Now, we have this row (or column) of icons taking up real estate.

The update for Leopard lets you have a drop-down-type menu instead of the giant icons on the dark background. I changed mine and it's much better (except you can't drag things out of the menu like you could with the giant icons).

My dock dresses to the right.
