Sphere Mesh

    Does anyone have any links to tutorials on creating sphere meshes like the one above in Illustrator?

    I can get an elevation easily but it's when I try to introduce perspective that I run into problems.

    Draw a circle. Delete either the right or left point. Select new "half circle". Go to Effect > 3D > Revolve. Set "surface" to "wireframe". Play with Perspective. After you have made it you can go to Object > Expand to turn it into points and lines. Enjoy

    • Mine comes out like a vase. WTF?creative-
    • You need to CUT off one side, not just remove a point, and you might need to flip the resulting semicircle 180°detritus
