I've got several rolls of 120 medium format color film that I'd like to get prints for. I'm anticipating this costing me a chunk of money, so I was hoping someone can help me out.
Do any of you know good / cheap photo printers in LA? Or perhaps online printers that I can send high-rez scans to and get some good prints from? Any information is helpful, I'm fairly new to traditional photography.

having them hi-res scanned will probably be more expensive than just printing them. Printing a 120 neg should be around .60 USD cents per print (4x6)...more or less.

They dont have medium format scanners or places that can print u up a few contact sheets?
I think if u got some contact sheets you could just pick which u wanted printed depending on how much dough u had at the time? not sure how the medium format stuff works but i'll get there

I have access to a negative scanner here at work, so getting them digitized will cost me nothing. Good to hear the prints should be relatively affordable, though.

court,
When I got the film processed, it was $8 / roll, and to get contact sheets for each would have bumped the price to $15 / roll. I was trying to save some money, since I knew I'd have access to a negative scanner.

Funny, I'm printing a couple of rolls of my own 120 film tomorrow for a photo class. I'll do it for $10000000

why don't you just scan them then? digital prints straight from file will be cheaper and easier to reproduce in the future.
imho optical printing stinks.
