Its good to see him finally get off the internet and train for real.. but until he is tested by a HW that has won a fight in the last 10 years, I don't think he is really going to improve his ground game.. Tank has lost 8 of 9 last fights.. Lets see him step (a little) up in the next fight.. Maybe James Thompson? That would be interesting...

Yeah. Kimbo can certainly take a punch, and he's got great hands, but I haven't really seen him develop his ground game, which he will need to do to advance in the mma world for sure. But as a replacement for Tank as the next generation "street brawler" type guy, he's worthy..he certainly has far more discipline than Tank ever did..

If Bas is training him, he can only get better.. when he lets his hands go, its pretty much lights out for anyone- but I would be interested to see him get taken down and have someone get side or mount on him.. I think in somebody large enough got him in a bad position, he'd panic.. maybe bring on Frank Mir!
(note, its really odd to to have a kimbo thread on here, as I woke up, got my email, checked Sherdog for the results, then check over here.. I might have to start a Formula One 2008 thread now!)

Kimbo would make a great DEEJAY in a new Street Fighter movie. Only thing is, any kind of Street Fighter movie they make will SUCK!
