Okay I just updated fonts on this site. Which do you prefer, the old or the new.

they both look pretty poor to me. although the new one is slightly less blurry.
- archiwaq0
well I guess thats a positive.

those fonts want to anti-alias so bad, but they just can't. It's a bit strange on the eyes.

sorry but both are borderline illegible for me.

How does one do that with Flash MX?

i can't read either

Fonts will show up blurry in Flash (especially at small sizes) if the text boxes aren't positioned on an exact pixel. So your X and Y position need to be like 127 and 485 but not 127.3 and 485.1. The partial pixel messes up the crisp edge of your type.
Also, if your type is inside a movie clip it needs to be at an exact pixel inside the movie clip, it doesn't matter if that movie clip is at an exact pixel location on the main timeline.
Hope that helps.

thanks I'll give it a try

Theres a custom font smoothing option in the latest version of flash. Perhaps try tweaking it rather than using the standard options, see if you can get it a little more clear in combination with making sure they're aligned on a definite pixel.

The new site is better organized, however you need a magnifying glass to read the text. Why so much text if you are selling visuals?
Your brand is selling images, the site should not look like CNN.
Nice photos BTW, good luck.

Perhaps consider a higher framerate, that fader on the logo/header is a bit choppy.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I'm a novice at this so any suggestions are appreciated.

okay I boosted the framerate a bit.
