fux that. what a nightmare. I accidentally deleted my World of Warcraft folder on my machine here at work. I was pissed. but my productivity went up about 368%.

That made my stomache turn, happened to me a few years ago...

Don't use too many apps etc. for a while as OSX will overwrite the now *free* portion of the disk for its swap file and so make recovering those files impossible. Try Data Rescue II (if not already). http://prosofteng.com/products/d…

i accidentally deleted someone else's entire folder of work but
it wasn't backed up and it was on the desktop named something
random like ep_1 (and this stuff was all personal stuff kept on his work computer)
anyway he's a total ass so looking back on it, i think it was reverse karma or something!- cool. so he's no ass anymore? just asking - to be sure when i reverse some people's karma...invisiblechamber

I used superduper to back up changed files to a second hd and also an external hd

it's all back again... sigh - took 2 hrs :I but data rescue recovered most of my files... i will now configure superduper...
