looking for a free MAC converter for converting ogg files to MP3.
Any ideas?

Audacity is a free audio editing tool that should convert that for you. Regardless it is a handy program to have - especially for no dollars.

IF you strictly want a converter I coulnd not specifically find ogg listed, but I didn't look too hard either:

Who's down with OGG?

OGG is a good format. A lot of video games are using it now a days. City of Heroes/Villains does. I don't know enought about it to know what makes it better or worse than anything else.

How do you do it in toast mrOneHundred?
- MrOneHundred0
Drag your oggs into the main toast window, ensuring the “Audio” tab up top is selected. Highlight the tracks you want to convert and hit the “Export” button down below. FUCK!! Just realised you need to include another, rather large step in this process. Anyway, export them out as AIFF files and then convert those to MP3s in iTunes. You see, I normally export out as AACs from Toast, and assumed that it would also do MP3s.
