I'm going to be in Boston all next week to work on a startup project and have nights free to roam about Boston.
Anybody got ideas of things to do or want to grab a beer next week?
I usually try and visit studios when I travel as well, anybody recommend any studios/firms to try and check out while I'm there?

Revere Beach, great fried clams & roast beef open all year long, worth the trip...

definitely check out the new ICA down by the waterfront, great building, great exhibits... http://www.icaboston.org/
as for a shop to visit, how about modernista?

probably the most exciting thing going here.
i'd meet up for a beer, but i have a newborn at home and am on a short leash... maybe contact emmaopeel, she's real nice: http://www.qbn.com/emmaopeel/- The modernista site is trippy as hell. But the work is awesome.leadtrum

Damn, looks like I'll miss that book show. That Japanese aesthetic show looks cool too.

Or perhaps a trip to King Arthur's Lounge?
http://www.yelp.com/biz/king-art…Seriously though I'd like to know more about the design scene here in Boston myself. Haven't ventured out into that space at all yet.
- I recommend taking a gander at the reviews on that page, btw they are hilarious.mmatthews

Damn didn't know Boston had rough areas like that. Nothing better than strippers and killings to round out a day of work.

I'm gonna be around the Cambridge area, Edwin Land Boulevard. Guess I'll just be over the river.

bah aint nothing over there but the cambridgeside galleria, a godforsaken mall. oh, and a huge construction site where the Lechmere station used to be. there's some fun dives over on cambridge st, but other than that, it's soulless biotechs and MIT spinoff companies in bland office towers.
- there's a microscopic ice skating area too. :)monkeyshine
