Im looking for a good monitor calibration device that is more for broadcast rather than print.
I understand that a broadcast monitor would be the best way to see my finals, but Im looking for a more cost effective software or device.
Any ideas would be very appreciated.

I dont understand really what you are talking about, I am going to look into this further but I really like using the Eye One device. I don't know if this will help but thought I would try to help.

I think you'll be fine with almost any monitor calibration device out there. I'm sure you've heard people jokingly say that NTSC stands for "Never the same color". It's the same for web...you're basically at the mercy of the end-user/viewer and what they have for a monitor, tv, etc and how they've calibrated. As a former motion designer I can tell you we used standard calibration devices for our monitors and things turned out pretty darn well and we were dealing with clients like McDonalds and Discovery Channel and they never raised any issues with colors being off from computer monitor to broadcast. I have a HueyPro now and for the money it can't be beat.

If $250 is cool with you, definitely recommend the Eye One.
