We should have a complex reputation system for voting threads and posts up/down and shown/hidden. I propose it be calculated by the number of +1's you get in notes.

I am sick of every thread turning into some kind of elitist/classist/racist argument. I am particularly sick of one particular member polluting QBN with his/her ignorant, ill-informed, provocative opinions. If this person is here to stir things up – mission accomplished. Now can we please have the ignore function re-instated so that we can all ostracise this person and maybe, just maybe they will get the hint and leave!

The ignore feature is not to get people to leave it is so that you can tailor the site to your desires, for example if one person posts racist or derogatory terms or things which offend you and things you are not interested in then if you have the opportunity to ignore them then you don't have to get offended by their horrible posts.
I know QBN supports free speach but they should also support their members and add the ignore feature, to promote peace and reduce hostility, the way I see it is ignore = less stress for people = a more happy community willing to do more rather than just sit and bitch and row with people all the time which 90% of threads end up being.
