OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!!
ARRRRGGGHHHH
I am getting angry. How do I prevent Indesign from controlling my line endings.

Hahaha, don't you just love it when that happens?
Indesign does have a tendency to think it knows how to lay out type better than the designer, one of it's few faults imo.

That old nutshell. Pain in the ass.
It's unlikely but in the paragraph fly-out menu, make sure 'Balance ragged lines' is unchecked.

I"ll just add this on to here instead of start a new thread. Is it me or is InDesign's leading a little too mcuh. Especially for headlines, I"m always bringing the type together and I often do so on text fonts as well.
