Had this annoying yet pleasant photocopier sales rep coming to the office. He'd drop in every coupla weeks and say "Hey, I can get you a great deal on a copier lease? What're you paying?" I'd be pleasant with the guy but kept telling him, "We're not in the market..." But sure enough he'd keep coming buy, dropping his price, etc. We'd get talking and he'd tell me about his kids in school, talk football, you know, pleasant guy, trying the soft sell...but at the end of the day I'm not looking for a new copier..
Then last week he comes in with a woman, who he then introduces as his wife (WTF?). We talk abit and she gets all pushy "Wow, you'd be a fool not to take this deal! You'd save so much money! Only an idiot wouldn't take it!"
She pissed me off right off the bat. Well she just called and said "Hi, remember me? I'm so-and-so's wife..So are you going to be foolish and not take our offer?"
I was so insulted I almost told her to fuck off. I just said "I'm busy and I don't want a copier. Don't solicit me again."
Weird.

well, it IS a pretty good deal, and I think you would be crazy not to take it. Especially if the dude's wife said so. But only if it collates.

The guy looked like Montel Williams in a cowboy hat..and his wife looked liked Oprah, only skinnier. But not that much skinnier...buxom, but not shapely, a little lumpy...
