They can't give you any answers until the last season. And even then....you may not get all of them.
They have to leave some questions for the movie that will be made after...
:P

They are probably Ben's contact on the boat.

I love her more!
Isn't Widmore Penny's father?

Goddamit. If you're going to do the cliche last supper thing, at least do it right. You can't just interchange characters. Placement is everything.
Jack makes sense in Thomas' postition, as the 'doubting thomas.' But wtf is up with Sawyer. No one stands there in the painting. It fucks up the composition and takes away from the symbolism. Who's supposed to be Judas or Peter? Sayid? The Asian psychic guy?
I mean jesus (pun!) people, a little awareness of basic art history and post modern symbolism would be nice.- they're probably doing it on purpose to confuse you .. not to give away too muchJordy
- Did BSG get it right? I didn't even notice.juhls
- Noted, but why even do this approach then. The whole point is to convey a clue visually.harlequino
- Not sure if BSG was right on the money, but it had more resonance, imo.harlequino

Well, she died, but can you really count any death on this show as "dying"? Also, there was an implication that she had managed to alter their fate somehow.

Time-traveling is done pretty well in "Journeyman", actually. Too bad it got cancelled. Everyone watch it on DVD!

This reminds me of Michael York as Basil Exposition, Chief of British Intelligence explaining time travel implications to Austin Powers, who got dizzy trying to grasp the theory:
"Austin, I suggest you don't worry too much about it. Just sit back and enjoy yourself. And [turning to the camera] that goes for you folks too."
Austin: "Yes." [Cheesy grin, then back to the plot.]
- I have Rafalski in my lineup for my NHL Pool (with fellow QBNers) and he is injured right now. Get with it, rafs'! ;)Jaline

Ok so Penny is looking for the island at the same time as her father. Her father is using the picture of her and Desmond to gain trust from the survivors... he must have known Desmond to be on the island or the whole Penny ruse wouldn't have worked. Through all this Penny has no idea what her father is up to, although she must be actively searching in the same area (to show up on the video receiver in the last episode of last season). Then Desmond calls Penny from her father's boat. I just don't get this side-plot. It seems like one would figure out what the other is up to at some point.

An interesting thought on the whereabouts of Daniel and possibly Jin:
When the island disappears, Jack tells Frank to look for the second island where the Hydra station is, but it's gone also. Also, remember the Looking Glass Station, which was a ways off the coast.
So maybe, if Daniel and his boat were within this realm of the island and moved with it.
And Jin (who was standing as far away from the initial explosion of the freighter as he possibly could be) managed to get off the freighter, maybe he swam far enough inland to be caught up in the move and Jeremy Bentham (Locke) visited Sun and told her that Jin was still alive and that's why she's so eager to find the island.

I felt bad that I never watched that show. That actor (the red haired guy) was great in Rome on HBO

My theory goes with some I read on the EW Lost blog this morning:
I think that Jacob died, but needed to reincarnate within Sayid. At that temple, the people there say they're fortifying and taking defensive positions to "keep him out" - him being Jacob / smoke monster, correct? Correct me if I'm wrong because that stuff was confusing.
Anyhow, if Jacob is inside Sayid, when Sayid wakes up he says "where am I?" that could either be A) Sayid really being confused, or B)Jacob being inside him and confused because he'd never gotten inside the temple.
Thoughts?
- no, the living locke is the smoke monster/bad guy. I believe that jacob is in cahoots with the temple people.404
- hence when they find out that Jacob died they know that locke/smoke monster is coming to kill them.404
- that is also why richard started freaking out when he saw the flare detonate, because he knew that meant shits about to go down.404
- go down.404
- sweet, I get it now, I think...mg33

Ben says he's got a man on the boat...
... is that man Syed? (sp?)...
... maybe he's been stuck in time too like Desmond and we just don't know it yet?
... just a thought... I could be and probably am... way off.
- i mean... he tells Locke to 'sit down' before he's about to tell him who... so it's gotta be someone Locke knows?PonyBoy
- well in this past episode they reveal that ben's man on the boat is michaeljkmohr
- hahaha...i suppose i should finish this past episode then... grr... nevermind me.PonyBoy
- i stopped right when jin and sun were getting ready to bail and Juliet talked shit... :(PonyBoy
