Does anyone know a Keyboard shortcut in CS3 to select Layers by Groups and Layers by individual layers. So I dont have to go to the top left hand drop down each time and select the option there.
Thanks

w to select the magnify glass. Zoom in on what you want to select, if its small. V to select the move tool. Right click on what you want to select. You'll get a dropdown. Select the layer from there. Hopefully you named them well.

yeah I know that one but i was wondering if there was a keyboard shortcut to select either groups or individual layers. All that drop down stuff is slowing down my style :)

you mean control + click on layer? i don't know how to do that with a group though.

... but like kona said, if you have grouped layers and you have the (V) selection/move arrow tool selected, and you click down holding down the apple and alt keys (or is it apple and option... can;t remember when not actually doing it) it auto selects to the layer over which you're hovering, so if that layer is groupled or linked, it will move/scale/delete the whole group.
