Hello All
Probably an easy answer, but does anyone know what the font is that is used on Pantone swatches? Cheers...

Google 'pantone brand font'
http://www.google.co.uk/custom?i…1st answer..
http://www.fazyluckers.com/discu…= Trade Gothic / 2
Does that work?

Thanks, i don't think it's right, but it's nearly there. Tried the google technique, couldn't find anything really unfortunately.

Tell a lie, it might be right actually. Thanks

Not Trade Gothic. The zero isn't right. Really close though.

Cheers guys
I wanted a font for a poster i was just playing around with:
http://www.designbydave.co.uk/id…So something similiar is okay, just knocked it up in an hour or so. What do you think?

hahaha 'dispel the myth that it's always dull and grey'? nice, but i think that the poster does the opposite. first thing i thougt when i looked at it was like: "oh nice, he's mocking the fack that it's grey and dull but in a deisng kinda way"
but i like it though. until manchester, somehow below that isn't doing it for me completely.and btw, that is the 'old' pantone font.

Cheers guys, i know what you both mean (firstly, i did consider a sun! - but wondered whether it would make it more clear, or less) it's an idea i have had, but maybe i need to think it through more. I suppose i am aiming at designers who know what a pantone chip is, they get the reference to manchester and well...after that who knows! Just been doing it this afternoon whilst listening to FA Cup.

Also, i know they're old chips...my agency really needs to update their pantone books!
