So I am trying to export some vector logos as eps files (in rgb) for digital distribution to a few clients for web/screen junk (I don't know why they wanted eps), but when I export, the black is never rich black, it is always slightly grey. My boss check is by opening it in preview and changing the bg color to black from the color selector and the black is always a bit lighter than the screen black. His concern is that when its displayed on black that it will be off in browsers for for presentations or whatever. Are there setting in illustrator that would fix this and make the black more rich?

open the eps in photoshop then use the eyedropper to check the blacks. Fix them if necessary. If its not already convert it to sRGB and save it.

Dont use the black bkg on preview as your black guide.

i told him not to use the preview color selector as the end all be all of blacks, but he's convinced that it won't display properly if someone places it on a black webpage of a black bg in a keynote project or something. it is freaking close already, but i will check it in PS. thanks!
