What is the max width of pixels I want to consider for a website? Does anyone use monitors with low resolution anymore? I want to avoid double scroll bars. What do you suggest?

- That's what I'm currently thinking. A friend on mine checked it though on a old Dell and had major problems.

it all depends who's your audience. but 800 (780) should be safe.

780px is now 990px or 1000px
