They are so slow unless your online at 1 in the morning, they totally throttle connections.

its probably because they'll chucking tv signals down the line too... i was with them (or at least when it was called homechoice) rubbish...

bethere ( http://www.bethere.co.uk ) are really good and they claim up to 24 Mbit.
But check how good is the wiring in your home. (and the distance from the first excange) I'm with them but i get no more than 8 *real* Mbits (which honestly is quite enough), because the wiring (and we spent a whole day testing... btw excellent customer service), some friend of mine arrived up to 17-18, so is worth of trying.Oh, and they are cheap.
And they don't have 1 year bullshit contracts.
