couple of years ago I went round 6 cities in europe on cheap early morning flights with my bird. we got some seriously good deals then shopped around fro very cheap accommodation and did the whole thing on a very tight budget.
If you're not up for running to get check ins at half four in the morning in strange cities I wouldn't recommend it though
