I have a project where customer (using that so i don't keep saying client) would like to offer a ftp area, or at least a service where they can simply upload items in turn for one of their clients to download, and also upload to.
Any services that offer this? The customer will likely have several clients at once, so will need distinct folders / access for each.

Fileport - you send the email with your attachment and fileport ftp's that to a server instead of an inbox :)

http://basecamphq.com might work too. It goes above and beyond what you are asking for, but might be worth a look.

look around for php uploaders in sourceforge.net - there's a bunch of nice ones up there with easy front-end.
