"it is highly publicized that there is nothing different or dangerous, but there always is."
bit of a generalisation there, no?

I don't think so. If you look at the track record of 'safe' things, it appears quite clear that money wins out over safety.
Honestly, I can't see how anyone can think that there are not issues that we cannot predict or understand. That's enough reason for me.
Do you honestly believe that every possible safety scenario has been considered? It is simply impossible to know, especially given the infancy of this technology (it was only a few years ago that life expectancy and other unknown 'defects' were visibly present).
Tell ya what, you go ahead and chow down, I'll check back with you in 25 years.
- by the way, you're looking bit anemic there, I think you need a nice juicy steakkelpie

Truth is you'll probably never know. It would be a silly business that says "hey that’s cloned meat you're eating" unless they legally have to... Which is unlikely knowing the US's record.

I assume that they will have to disclose that. Surely companies will lie, but overall I can't imagine it being legal without a disclaimer.
But big business wins most of the time. Recently, big agri tried to make "certified organic" only have to be a certain percentage of organic to be certified.
I am continually surprised at how much the US citizens will tolerate from big business/politicians.
- Yo! With all this terrible stuff happening to our natural food supply, the life expectancy has doubled over the last one hundred years.
