To be honest I think there are plenty of type news sites out there, so the concept is not new. And the design is nice from afar but there is also a lot of wasted space up top and the text is really tough to read. Low contrast, too small.

That said, I guess there's always room for another eye candy site. But in that category, nothing beats ffffound.

I don't know, I like the fact that it is focused exclusively on type, but in a broad sense rather than just on new releases. You are right that the text is brutally hard to read though.

It looks good to me. Descriptions are a bit small indeed. I also feel it is bookmarkworthy. Fffffffffffound is good but i don't use it anymore, there's too much of anything, the chaos of imagery only confuses me now.
