  When the words were unleashed they were delivered with the experience earned from nearly two decades as the reigning star of stage and screen. There was fire and disillusionment, brimstone and disappointment; ancestry was invoked, moral values were hinted at, the trouble with the times were bemoaned and as the flow of words that seemed to have been delivered without a pause for breath wound down, everybody in the room was scrabbling desperately against the emptiness in their minds to figure out a response to the attack.
