slow flash on html?

anyone can give me a reason why a simple motion on flash looks slow on the browser but not when its previewed on flash app?
advices?
worked at 18frames x sec... on a mac.. ( just on intels look at the same speed but I was working on a powermac..)

max is correct, it'll run slower on a mac. setting wmode to transparent will kill it even more, if you are using a transparency at all.

flash does not make use of graphic cards on macs. it consumes the processor power. that's why you can play super high res depth- and light-effect 3d games on a mac - but don't you dare to want to watch a bit more pimped flash movie. that is dumb and lame. and it is for some stupid reasons like fights about licenses between dunno what companies.

thats a shame... I really noticed about the player.. and fixed.. but the client has an old player.. so he ask me why so slow.. I wanted to use the wmode transparent.. Zzzzslow... Adobe shoud fix that...!!!

use the adobe flash upgrade thing... newer players work okay on mac.
