It's too bad you can't just vote up or down with this.

But you determine which sites are good by the results of battling. Much more valuable data than "do you like this." If that's all you were asked for, then you'd say "yes" to every good site, and not get any good metrics on which sites are better than others. Voting up or down would just indicate which sites have been "liked" the most (which, incidentially, is an upcoming feature).
