Now that the sheer excitement of the Mac Expo is over, can I ask... is anyone else having trouble motivating at this early point in the year? I feel like I'm walking knee deep in nutella trying to get even simple things done. I'm trying to get a promotional flyer off to the printers and damn me I just seem to be able to find the will to keep trawling through my archive finding the right file from four hundred slight variations that I saved *just in case*. I would rather smash my face down on to the desk. Anyone else having similar probalo?

Simplify... I said to my missus... I think I'll just do a postcard and people can go to the site to see the work. She said ... so you'll have to re-work your site before you can do that then to get the new work up and maybe make less of a pig's fucking ear of what's already there, which maybe will be done by 1012... and I thought about it and realised that the awful pain of collating and prepping all these files for a mailout is the lesser of two evils. Really, I fucking hate this time of year.

Nice idea Akro. I may have to think about doing that. Maybe after I smash my face into the desk I will go a for a walk up the village high street with bits of broken teeth embedded in my lower facial area. I need a research trip. I need to get my mailer to print, get two book covers to press, get a few of last year's projects online in the usual slapsadaisical fashion, and then get myself off for a little R+D in New Yoik or maybe Tokyo if my missus will let me go that far for that long at that kind of cost.
